Seven Individuals, Including NASCAR’s Greg Biffle And His Family, Lost Their Lives In A Plane Crash On December 18

Just prior to the tragic airplane crash that claimed her life along with her family, Cristina Biffle posted a heartfelt message on her social media account.

On the fateful day of December 18, it was reported that a Cessna C550 business jet met with an accident at the Statesville Regional Airport in North Carolina. Preliminary reports revealed that the ill-fated plane was registered to GB Aviation Leasing LLC, a business entity owned by the retired NASCAR driver, Greg Biffle.

Initial casualty reports pointed towards six victims. Unfortunately, it was later established that the crash claimed the lives of seven individuals.

It took a few painstaking hours before the identities of the victims were revealed. The Biffle, Grossu, Dutton, and Lunders families released a statement sharing the devastating news.

The statement confirmed the deaths of Greg Biffle, his wife Cristina, their son Ryder, and Greg’s daughter Emma, who was his child with ex-wife Nicole Lunders, in the crash. The other victims were identified as Craig Wadsworth, Dennis Dutton, and Dennis’ son, Jack.

Cristina Biffle’s Last Social Media Post Held A Touching Message

Following the tragic incident, individuals began revisiting the Biffles’ social media profiles. It was then that Cristina Biffle’s final post, made moments before the unfortunate event, was discovered.

This post held a deeply significant message. It was shared from a page named Boss Babe.

The message stated, “Martha Stewart hadn’t started a business at 30. She launched her catering company at 35. At 58, she became a billionaire.” A visit to the Boss Babe page reveals a caption accompanying the post which reads, “These stories are your reminder that you’re not behind…you’re right on time.” The broader post is a slideshow featuring images of renowned businesswomen who attained success later in their lives.

Cristina Biffle’s mother, Cathy Grossu, spoke about her daughter’s compassionate nature. One of their final conversations revolved around “Santa letters” that Cristina sent out to disadvantaged families at her own cost.

“She asked me, ‘Mom, can you collect the remaining 17 letters from Staples? I want to dispatch them before I board the plane tomorrow,’” Cathy remembered. “So I hurriedly collected them and delivered them to their home, and last night, she placed them in envelopes and prepared them all to be sent off to those last 17 families to bring them some happiness, and that would be the last act she performed.”

Cristina’s friend, Erica Zangwill, also shared her sentiments. Erica expressed to PEOPLE that Cristina “had a penchant for putting others before herself.”

“She was one in a million, and it’s hard to believe she’s no longer with us,” Erica lamented.

Our hearts and prayers are with those who were close to and loved Greg Biffle, Cristina, Emma, Ryder, Craig Wadsworth, Dennis Dutton, and Jack Dutton. May their souls find eternal peace…
