
Savannah Guthrie Sends Direct Message to Mother’s Alleged Kidnappers: “We Understand and We Will Pay”
Savannah Guthrie is once again publicly pleading for the safe return of her missing mother, Nancy Guthrie, releasing a somber new video alongside her siblings as investigators continue to search for answers.
The Today show co-host, 54, appeared seated with her brother and sister, Camron and Annie Guthrie, in a video shared to Instagram on Saturday, Feb. 7. The siblings held hands as Savannah addressed whoever may be responsible for their mother’s disappearance.
“We received your message and we understand,” Guthrie said. “We are begging you to bring our mother back to us so we can be with her again. That is the only way we will find peace. This means everything to us — and we will pay.”

Nancy Guthrie Believed Abducted from Arizona Home
Authorities say Nancy Guthrie, 84, was taken from her longtime home in Tucson, Arizona, during the overnight hours of Saturday, Jan. 31. She was last seen earlier that evening after being dropped off by family members.
Nancy was reported missing the following morning when she failed to attend church, prompting an immediate and large-scale law enforcement response. Investigators have stated they believe she was abducted against her will.
Ransom Messages Under Active Review
Law enforcement officials are continuing to examine multiple messages believed to be ransom demands connected to the case. According to the FBI, one message sent to media outlets included a deadline for payment on Thursday, Feb. 5, with a second demand allegedly extending into the following week.
On Friday, Feb. 6, the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department confirmed they were aware of an additional message potentially linked to Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance.
“Investigators are actively assessing the authenticity of the information provided,” authorities said in a statement, noting that all communications are being taken seriously.

Disturbing Evidence Found at the Scene
Sheriff Chris Nanos previously confirmed that investigators discovered a trail of blood on the front steps of Nancy Guthrie’s home, which authorities say belongs to her. Parts of a Ring doorbell camera were also found removed from the front entrance area.
Despite these findings, officials have not named a suspect or identified a person of interest.
FBI Offers $50,000 Reward
The FBI has joined the search and is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information that leads to Nancy Guthrie’s recovery or the arrest and conviction of those involved.

Family Continues Public Appeals
This latest video follows an earlier emotional plea shared by Savannah Guthrie and her siblings on Feb. 4, in which they asked for proof that their mother was still alive.
Savannah has remained in Arizona with her family as the investigation unfolds, continuing to appeal publicly in hopes of bringing her mother home safely.
