Moment police clash with Christians preaching the gospel at King’s Cross as one officer says ‘I just think it’s wrong’
Watch the moment a police officer tells a group of Christians to stop preaching the gospel outside King’s Cross station, London.
A small part of the bizarre exchange is captured on camera where the officer is heard telling one of the preachers “I just think it’s all wrong”.
She then walks away, giving the young preacher little chance to formulate a response.
Despite the confrontation, she says “God bless you” as the officer strolls away.

Explaining why she wants them to move, the officer tells the group: “Because it’s so loud.
“These people just want to do their journey. They’re not coming here to listen to you.”
The shocking ordeal is not the first time police have had run-ins with preachers in recent years.
Last year a grovelling apology was issued after Christian singer Harmonie London was told to stop performing church songs outside church grounds.
Speaking to Jacob Rees-Mogg last year on the People’s Channel, London said the experience was “humiliating” and could not understand the police’s heavy-handed nature.
“I’m not busking, I was sharing the gospel. It’s completely in my human rights”, she said.

“Throughout the Bible, you’re encouraged to sing God’s praises. I’m not forcing anyone to listen.
“I just go out there to sing. If people want to listen, believers or non-believers, they are more than welcome.”
In January last year, the Met Police apologised for any offence caused and said the officer should not have told the 20-year-old where she can and cannot sing church songs.
A month later, shocking viral footage showed a Christian preacher being threatened with arrest for singing religious songs.
He was accused of a hate crime by a member of the public who reported the incident to the police about alleged homophobic comments.
The video showed two separate officers threatening to arrest the preacher as he asks for some sort of clarification regarding the situation.
