Mickey Rourke, the legendary Hollywood actor and former professional boxer, has sparked widespread attention after appearing nearly unrecognizable during a rare public sighting on New Year’s Day just as reports surface that he may be facing possible eviction from his Los Angeles home.

The 73-year-old “The Wrestler” star was photographed briefly stepping outside his residence to collect food deliveries. According to eyewitness accounts, Rourke first retrieved a Taco Bell order, followed by two paper grocery bags from Pavilions, offering a rare glimpse into his day-to-day life amid growing legal and financial concerns.

In the photos, Rourke appeared drastically different from his red-carpet days. He sported a shaved head, paired with a multicolored striped sweater, purple workout pants, and white socks. Completing the look were a beaded necklace featuring a cross and a polka-dot scarf wrapped around his neckan unconventional ensemble that only heightened public intrigue.

Just days earlier, reports revealed that Rourke is allegedly facing eviction after accumulating nearly $60,000 in unpaid rent. Court documents state that the actor was served with a three-day notice to pay or vacate by December 18, after reportedly falling behind on rent that had climbed to $7,000 per month. At the time the notice was issued, Rourke allegedly owed $59,100.

The eviction notice was reportedly posted on the property and mailed, after officials were unable to locate “a person of suitable age or discretion” at the home. The residence itself is described as a three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath Spanish-style bungalow, originally built in 1926 and recently upgraded, according to Zillow.
Rourke first rose to prominence in the 1980s, earning acclaim for his roles in “Heaven’s Gate,” “Body Heat,” and “Diner.” Once considered one of Hollywood’s most intense leading men, his life story continues to reflect both the glory and volatility of fame.
