Meet the Real-Life Partners of the 9-1-1 Cast — Including the Onscreen Couple That’s Married Offscreen Too

The cast of 9-1-1 has saved each other from burning buildings, kidnappings, and even bee swarms — but when the cameras stop rolling, many of them return to lives far more grounded, and in some cases, just as romantic as the stories they portray on screen.

Angela Bassett has been married to fellow actor Courtney B. Vance since 1997. The two met at the Yale School of Drama, acted together on ER, and now run their own production company. Jennifer Love Hewitt and her real-life husband, Brian Hallisay, have worked together on multiple shows — including 9-1-1 where he played her character’s ex-husband. They married in 2013 and have three kids.

Peter Krause, who plays Bobby Nash, is currently single after his long-term relationship with actress Lauren Graham ended in 2021. Kenneth Choi is also single, though he says he’s fully invested in the love story between Chimney and Maddie — calling Jennifer Love Hewitt “the best TV wifey a man could ask for.”
