Fans of suspenseful storytelling and brain-teasing whodunits have reason to celebrate: acclaimed actress Lesley Manville is officially returning for The Marble Hall Murders, the third and final installment in the BBC’s hit crime drama series based on Anthony Horowitz’s bestselling novels.

Following the success of Magpie Murders and Moonflower Murders, the new series will once again feature Manville as Susan Ryeland, the sharp-witted editor-turned-sleuth. This time, Susan finds herself back in England, caught in a chilling new mystery set in a luxurious villa in Corfu. The twist? The clues to solving the real-life murder of famed children’s author Miriam Crace are hidden in the pages of a new Atticus Pünd novel—this time penned by a young and mysterious new writer.

Tim McMullan is also set to return as the iconic fictional detective Atticus Pünd, whose literary mysteries have always paralleled the real-world crimes Susan is trying to solve. Each season has masterfully blended fiction with reality, and The Marble Hall Murders promises another layered, puzzle-box narrative for fans to dissect.
