Jelly Roll Thanks Fans After Major Grammy Night: “We Did This Together”
Jelly Roll celebrated a career-defining moment after winning three awards at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 1. The 41-year-old artist used the occasion to reflect on his journey and express heartfelt gratitude to the fans who believed in him long before mainstream success.

Speaking to reporters following the ceremony, Jelly Roll emphasized that his Grammy wins were the result of years of unwavering support from listeners who stood by him from the very beginning of his music career in Tennessee. He described his rise as a shared victory, made possible by people who saw potential in him when few others did.
“This never would have happened without them,” Jelly Roll said. “They believed in me when I was just an overweight white kid from Tennessee trying to figure life out. Tonight proves that belief can change everything.”
Attending the event alongside his wife, Bunnie Xo, Jelly Roll also shared his hope that his success would resonate with people who feel overlooked or underrepresented. He explained that seeing himself on the Grammy stage could inspire others who are struggling to believe in their own future.

During the night, Jelly Roll took home awards for Best Contemporary Country Album for Beautifully Broken, Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for “Hard Fought Hallelujah” with Brandon Lake, and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Amen” with Shaboozey.
While accepting the award for Best Contemporary Country Album, the singer became emotional as he credited Bunnie Xo with saving his life. He openly discussed his past struggles, including incarceration, addiction, and moments when he felt completely broken.

“There was a time when all I had was a Bible, a radio, and a prison cell,” Jelly Roll recalled. “Music and faith gave me a second chance. This album was born from that pain, and tonight proves that redemption is real.”
Jelly Roll’s Grammy success stands as a powerful testament to perseverance, faith, and the life-changing impact of music—both for the artist and the fans who believed in him from day one.
