Jelly Roll Offers Country Singer Joshua Ray Walker Support On His 200-LB Weight Loss Journey
Jelly Roll’s transformative health journey has inspired countless fans and fellow artists, and now he’s extending his support to country singer Joshua Ray Walker as he embarks on his own weight loss challenge.
Jelly Roll’s Inspiring Weight Loss Journey
Since starting his health and fitness journey in 2022, Jelly Roll has lost an impressive amount of weight. Most recently, the singer confirmed that he has lost 275 pounds.
On January 2nd, Jelly even hit a milestone goal of landing on the cover of Men’s Health.
The achievement was a long time coming, after back in December 2024 the “Save Me” singer announced his goal during an episode of the Dumb Blonde podcast, hosted by his wife, Bunnie Xo.
Since then, Jelly has been extremely transparent about his journey, sharing the highs and lows that come with losing a significant amount of weight.

Support From His Team
Along the way, Jelly has turned to many different people for support on his journey. Just last week, his health coach shared just how proud he is of Jelly.
“I’ve had many moments in my career that I’m proud of, moments that once lived only in my imagination—milestones & dreams I spoke out loud years ago and chased down one step at a time. I’ve been proud of many of them,” Ian Larios wrote on social media.
He continued, saying Jelly’s weight loss journey “hits differently.”

“The absolutely legendary & iconic Men’s Health cover,” Ian continued. “@jellyroll615, ‘proud’ doesn’t even begin to cover it. You spoke this moment into existence, you sweated for it, and no one can ever take that away from you.”
Joshua Ray Walker’s Health Battle and New Goal
In 2023, the “Dumpster Diving” singer shared that he tragically had colon cancer, and was undergoing chemotherapy treatment. After six months of treatment, Walker also received news that the cancer had spread to his lungs.
The country singer was initially informed that his cancer had progressed to Stage 4. However, following a biopsy, doctors determined that the diagnosis was incorrect and that the cancer had not spread.
Physicians later confirmed that Walker was cancer-free, finding no evidence of the disease in his body. Now that Walker has a clean bill of health, he has decided to embark on a new journey: losing 200 pounds.
“I’m giving myself 400 days to get down to 400 pounds. So if you want to watch an extremely fat man become a slightly less fat man, follow along now,” he wrote on social media.

Jelly Roll’s Words of Encouragement
Jelly Roll quickly vocalized his support for Walker, knowing better than anyone the road he is about to take.
“You can do it brother. I believe in you. Let’s go! Hit me if you need anything,” he wrote.
The comment has raked in over 10,000 likes, and hundreds of comments praising Jelly for his support.
A Community of Support
Jelly Roll’s willingness to extend support to Walker demonstrates the camaraderie within the country music community and the power of shared experiences in overcoming personal challenges.
Having navigated his own dramatic transformation, Jelly understands the physical, mental, and emotional demands of such a journey. His offer to be available if Walker needs anything represents more than just words—it’s a genuine commitment from someone who has walked a similar path.
Walker’s decision to publicly document his 400-day challenge mirrors Jelly’s transparent approach to his own weight loss, creating accountability while inspiring others who may be facing similar struggles.
Inspiration Beyond Music
Both artists demonstrate that success in the music industry doesn’t preclude personal struggles with health and wellness. Their willingness to be vulnerable about these challenges helps destigmatize conversations about weight loss and health transformation.
For Walker, the journey takes on added significance following his cancer battle. Having received a clean bill of health after facing a life-threatening diagnosis, his focus on physical wellness represents a new chapter—one dedicated to living his healthiest life possible.
Jelly Roll’s transformation from someone who struggled with weight to a Men’s Health cover model serves as living proof that dramatic change is possible with dedication, support, and consistency.

Moving Forward Together
As Walker begins his 400-day journey to reach 400 pounds, he does so with the encouragement of someone who has achieved remarkable results through similar efforts. Jelly Roll’s support—both public and the private assistance he’s offered—could prove invaluable as Walker navigates the challenges ahead.
The country music community has rallied around both artists, celebrating their commitment to health and wellness while continuing to appreciate their musical contributions. Their journeys remind fans that transformation is possible at any stage of life, and that supporting one another through difficult challenges creates stronger bonds and better outcomes.
As 2026 unfolds, both Jelly Roll and Joshua Ray Walker stand as examples of resilience, determination, and the power of community support in achieving personal health goals.
