Disturbing New Footage Emerges in Search for Missing Texas Teen Last Seen on Christmas Eve

New Video Shows Missing Texas Teen After Christmas Eve Disappearance as Authorities Warn of ‘Imminent Danger’

Authorities in Texas have released new surveillance footage believed to show missing 19-year-old Camila Mendoza Olmos, intensifying concerns for her safety as investigators warn she may be in “imminent danger.”

New Footage Captured Hours After She Went Missing

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) shared the video on Monday, December 29, showing a young woman they believe to be Camila walking northbound along Wildhorse Parkway near her home at approximately 7 a.m. on December 24.

The footage, posted to the BCSO’s Facebook page, was reportedly recorded by a motorist heading to work, according to NewsNation.

In the clip, the woman is seen wearing a black hoodie and dark pants, walking alone along the roadway.

Authorities Believe the Woman in the Video Is Camila

Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said investigators strongly believe the footage shows Camila shortly after she left her home.

“We believe it captured Camila just walking… alone, at least at that point,” Salazar said, noting the video was recorded minutes after she was last seen in her driveway.

Last Confirmed Sighting Near Her Home

According to authorities, Camila left her residence in the 11000 block of Caspian Spring in Bexar County on foot early Christmas Eve morning.

She was last confirmed wearing:

  • Baby blue and black hoodie

  • Baby blue pajama bottoms

  • White shoes

“This is the last confirmed sighting investigators currently have,” the sheriff’s office stated.

Disappearance Reported on Christmas Eve

Camila was officially reported missing on December 24, after she was last seen leaving her family’s home at approximately 6:58 a.m.

Her mother, Rosario, told authorities that the two had been sleeping together when she felt Camila get out of bed. Surveillance footage later showed Camila in the driveway before she disappeared.

Investigators Explore Multiple Possibilities

Sheriff Salazar confirmed that authorities are considering all possible scenarios, including:

  • Kidnapping

  • Human trafficking

  • Camila leaving voluntarily

“We’re looking at a whole spectrum of possibilities,” Salazar said.

He added that there is also concern regarding potential self-harm, increasing urgency in the search.

Family Immediately Raised the Alarm

After realizing Camila was missing, Rosario contacted Camila’s boyfriend and her father, both of whom said they had not seen or heard from her. Authorities were then notified shortly afterward.

Search Efforts Continue

As the investigation remains ongoing, law enforcement officials are urging the public to review the footage and report any information that could help locate Camila.

Authorities stress that any detail, no matter how small, could be critical in bringing her home safely.
