Danielle Colby Gives ‘American Pickers’ Update Amid ‘Serious Health Issues’

Danielle Colby has said that she is heartbroken after having to cancel upcoming burlesque performances but added that she will still be traveling for American Pickers.

The reality TV star cohosts the show on the History Channel with Mike Wolf. The program follows them as they scour the country for forgotten gems in junkyards and basements, and recycle and renovate them while meeting quirky characters along the way. She also manages the Antiques Archaeology on the show, performs as a burlesque dancer, and is an OnlyFans model.

Colby took to her Instagram page on Tuesday to update her fans about the health struggles of a family member, revealing the impact it has had on her.

Newsweek emailed a spokesperson for Colby for comment on Wednesday outside of normal business hours.

“I am heartbroken to let you know that I will not be able to join all of you in New Mexico for Dr. Lucky’s Blue Review,” Colby said in a video she uploaded, referring to a premiere grown-up variety show.

“That date that I was going to be there is December 20th and 21st. Unfortunately, we have had some very serious health issues happening within my family. I really don’t want to get too much in detail because it’s not my health I’m speaking of. I’m OK, I’m fine, but my family needs me right now.

“For the foreseeable future, I will not be traveling for performances, I’ll only be traveling for American Pickers and, outside of that, being here for my family.”

Colby clarified further that she has canceled all upcoming performances and anything that she has to travel for, “for the foreseeable future.”

She continued: “Maybe, at some point, things will balance out hopefully and I’ll be able to get on the road again for burlesque, but until then, I’m going to miss you guys, I love you and I appreciate you and get out there and celebrate. Go out and see all of the shows you can but especially Dr. Lucky’s Blue review in Las Cruces, New Mexico.”

In the caption of her post, Colby said her followers should “feel free to send prayers, blessings, good vibes, healing thoughts and energy toward my family at this time.” She also further encouraged people to attend Dr. Lucky’s Blue Review, saying it’s a “spectacular cast and a wonderful show,” adding that “supporting local art is more important now than ever.”

In November, Colby took to her Instagram page to ask fans to send “healing energy” to her sister, but did not detail what had happened to Annie.

“Please send love, light and healing energy to my baby sister Annie today. We will be raging it again in no time Sister,” Corby wrote alongside a throwback photo of the pair posing together while hugging.

Corby also posted a photo of her extended family to her Instagram stories with the caption, “spending time with the family today.”

Wolfe had to reassure fans that Colby was still involved in the show after she was missing from a behind-the-scenes video from American Pickers. He was showing off a new clip on his TikTok channel, and, after sharing it cross-platform on Instagram, Wolfe responded to worried fans.

Twelve people are featured in the video that Wolfe shared on his social channels. They range from other pickers and co-executive producers to production supervisors and a director of photography. Fans noticed that Wolfe’s co-host Colby was missing.

“She still rocking with us,” Wolfe said to one commenter and wrote to others that she was back in the office.
