Gisele Bündchen, the Brazilian supermodel, has found love again after her divorce from NFL star Tom Brady. She has now married Jiu-Jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente in Florida. The couple was first seen together on a holiday trip with Bündchen’s children in November 2022, with sources confirming their dating status since June 2023.
Joaquim Valente, the Jiu-Jitsu instructor, and Gisele Bündchen, the renowned fashion model, exchanged vows in a private ceremony on December 3 in Surfside, Florida, as per the marriage records checked. The news of their wedding was first reported by Page Six. TMZ reported that the couple had a small, intimate wedding ceremony at their residence. Bündchen’s representatives have not yet responded to requests for comments.
The 45-year-old Bündchen and Valente had earlier welcomed a baby boy in the beginning of 2025 as per reports. A close source to Gisele had confirmed her pregnancy on October 28, 2024, indicating that the couple was excited about their new journey together. The source stated, “Gisele and Joaquim are delighted about this new phase of their life and are looking forward to fostering a serene and loving atmosphere for the whole family.”
Their baby, who is the third child for the model, joins the family of Bündchen’s 15-year-old son Benjamin Rein and 12-year-old daughter Vivian Lake, whom she had with her ex-spouse Tom Brady.
Bündchen started dating the Jiu-Jitsu trainer in June 2023. Their initial sighting together was in November 2022 during a visit to Provincia de Puntarenas, a coastal province in Costa Rica, accompanied by her two kids. At first, the model denied any romantic involvement with her trainer, but as time passed, a romantic spark ignited between them.
In February 2024, a source confirmed the relationship between Bündchen and Valente, indicating that their friendship had evolved into a romantic relationship. The source mentioned, “They began as close friends. She is quite private and preferred to keep things low-key as they got to know each other better.”
A second source supported the previous narrative, mentioning that Valente had been a significant support for Bündchen during her divorce proceedings with Brady. Bündchen and the former NFL player filed for divorce on October 28, 2022, after 13 years of marriage.
