Kate Hudson, 47, and Daughter Rani, 7, Wear Matching Bikinis and Sundresses on Greece Family Trip

Summer kicked off with excitement for this Hollywood mom, and her little one made sure everyone took notice.
Kate Hudson, 47, shared moments from her recent vacation in Athens, Greece, with her three children, and the images sparked a lot of chatter among her followers. The getaway, which took place in late June 2026, showcased several outfits that had her youngest daughter mirroring her style.

The star of ‘How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days’ posted a collection of photos on Instagram summarizing their trip, captioning it, “Perfect start to summer @ooaesthesis,” referring to their stay at the One&Only Aesthesis, a beach resort located in the Glyfada area of Athens that embodies the elegance of the Athenian Riviera from the 1960s.
The carousel of images included Kate with her children, daughter Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa, 7, and son Bingham Hawn Bellamy, 14. Her oldest son, Ryder Russell Robinson, 22, was not featured in the pictures.
One photo captured Kate and Rani lounging by the pool, both engrossed in their books. The actress wore a brown triangle bikini with a broad band, coupled with a gold necklace, a matching ring, and red-framed cat-eye reading glasses.

Rani donned the exact same swimsuit and mimicked her mother’s reading posture, with matching beverages resting on the table between them.
Their coordinated outfits continued into the evening. In another image, Kate held Rani’s hand while strolling along a beach path at night, dressed in a strappy baby blue maxi dress, gold jewelry, a brown shoulder bag, and sheer flats. Rani also wore a floral halter dress featuring a baby blue hem and a red and blue floral design.

Aside from their reading time and evening walk, the family filled their days with activities. Kate, Rani, and Bing were seen together walking along the beach and playing padel tennis during their stay.
Greece holds a significant place in Kate’s heart, as she often shares how she enjoys her time there. In a previous interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she described what an ideal day on a Greek island looks like for her.

Her day typically begins around 7:30 a.m. with the sound of her kids playing before heading for an early swim while her sons run along the shore.
By early afternoon, the family usually transitions to boating between islands. “Greece is my favorite vacation spot; I feel really at home there. I love the culture, the people are wonderful, and the water is just so incredibly appealing,” she remarked.

Evenings are spent with close friends and family watching the sunset while enjoying a cocktail before heading out for dinner. This routine, she says, provides her with the connection and laughter she cherishes, followed by an early bedtime to repeat the cycle the next day.

Fans Comment on Rani’s Similarity to Her Parents
The pictures of Kate and Rani attracted significant attention from the actress’s followers, with many commenting on how much the seven-year-old has grown and who she resembles.
One commenter noted on the post, “Your daughter is a beautiful young lady.” Another mentioned her likeness to her father, saying, “the girl has her dad’s whole face ❤️ [sic].”

Many comments highlighted how much Rani has matured since her early years. “Your mini you is so grown up!” one user wrote, while another added, “Your daughter is so beautiful! She has the sweetest face!”

Several comments also pointed out smaller details from the photos. “Look at her little high-heels 👠 love her [sic],” one person remarked, while another simply commented, “Wearing heels already!”
The matching swimwear received plenty of praise as well. “It’s the matching bikinis for me 😍,” one user shared, and another noted, “You have a mini me she’s so cute.”
The comments weren’t the only thing highlighting Rani’s connection to her family background.
Exploring Hudson’s Blended Family with Three Different Fathers
Rani is Kate’s youngest child, born to her and fiancé Danny Fujikawa, a musician she has known since she was 23 through mutual acquaintances.
The couple started dating in 2016 and became engaged in 2021, although Kate has mentioned that there is no urgency to organize a wedding amidst her busy life.
Bing’s father is Kate’s ex, Matt Bellamy, to whom she got engaged in 2011, just three months before Bing was born, before they separated in 2014. Ryder’s father is her ex-husband, Black Crowes lead singer Chris Robinson, whom she married in 2000.
The couple welcomed Ryder in 2004 and divorced in 2007. Between these relationships, Kate also dated Owen Wilson, Lance Armstrong, and Alex Rodriguez.
In a past interview with The Times, the actress reflected on raising children at different stages of her life, noting that she was more hands-on and relaxed with Ryder as a young mother in her 20s compared to the structured approach she now applies with her younger two.
Kate also discussed how her relationships with her children’s fathers have changed over time, mentioning that she and Chris only check in occasionally, while she described Matt as an excellent co-parent.
Kate and Matt’s wife, Elle, have formed a close friendship, and both blended families often vacation together. Kate expressed that while it may not seem conventional from the outside, she feels it represents a strong, united family.
For now, it seems this chapter of the Hudson family’s summer is filled with matching swimsuits, sunset strolls, and a seven-year-old who has fully embraced her mother’s style.
