8-Month-Old Baby Goes Viral After Mom Gives Her a ‘Fresh’ Set of 22-Inch Hair Extensions
An adorable moment at a Massachusetts salon is capturing hearts online. Chelsea Falcetti, 34, owner of The Plan Salon in Holyoke, recently brought her 8-month-old daughter Frankie to work—and decided to have a little fun with a TikTok video that has now gone viral.
A Cute Salon Moment Turns Viral
Falcetti, a mom of four, explained that she and her receptionist were joking around while Frankie was at the salon. They decided to film a short TikTok using hair extensions from a consenting client.
“We put a cape on her just for fun, and at the time, we had an extension client who graciously gave us permission to borrow some of her hair. From there, the idea just kept growing,” Falcetti told PEOPLE.
In the video, Frankie sits in a salon chair while her mom applies the extensions. Falcetti adds a beanie on top to cover the extensions, and the camera captures Frankie’s mesmerized reaction. Seconds later, the baby claps and smiles, clearly thrilled with her new look.

Why the Video Took Off
Chelsea didn’t expect the TikTok to go viral so quickly.
“I was completely shocked by how quickly it took off. Almost immediately after I posted it, my phone started buzzing nonstop with notifications,” she said.
The mom says the video was intended as a fun, lighthearted way to engage people and bring attention to her small business.
“We thought, ‘Who doesn’t love cute baby content?’ This was definitely one of our more spontaneous ideas, but it felt fun and lighthearted in the moment.”
Baby Frankie Steals the Spotlight
Falcetti notes that Frankie, the youngest of four children, is a very easygoing baby who “sat so nicely, loved looking at herself in the mirror, and was genuinely curious about what we were doing.”
