The child’s father, Jameson Kyle Boley, now faces criminal charges after narcotics and suspected explosive materials were discovered at his residence during the search operation.
On December 31st, Jameson was taken into custody and charged with unlawful manufacture of a destructive device, classified as a class B felony, Smith stated, according to WVTM. He additionally faces two counts of chemical endangerment of a child, both class C felonies.
“These criminal charges exist independently from John-John’s disappearance,” Smith emphasized to media representatives on Monday, subsequently clarifying that methamphetamine was allegedly discovered inside the father’s home.
“After completing our investigation and receiving an official cause of death determination,” he added, “all evidence will be assembled and submitted to the district attorney for evaluation.”
